Our school  is located in Kłodzko at 12 Daszyński Street. This is a small, independent school situated next to a park and the Młynówka River. The official name of our school is ‘Zespół Szkół Społecznych’, which means ‘The Complex of Independent Schools’. There are two buildings: in the first one there is primary school (podstawowa) and junior high (gimnazjum) and in the other one there is high school (liceum ogólnokształcące). In our school there are about 150 students and teaching staff  including  22 teachers.

Besides classrooms, in this school there is a common room, a small gym, a headmaster’s office,  a science lab,  an office, a small play ground and a staffroom.

We organize a lot of school trips and ‘Green Schools’ (school trips, lasting more than 5 days), on which we can learn about places, where we are staying. Every year, one class takes part in Polish-Danish exchange. Polish students from our school go to Denmark and live with students from Denmark  in their houses for one week. They visit  interesting places and learn about traditions and culture of people from the other country. It’s a great opportunity to practice English!

School year consists of 4 quarters.

In one class, there can be maximum 16 students, so we are prepared better  to many kinds of exams and tests. Students from our school always have great results of the national school-leaving test. Grading system in our school is different from state schools. It is similar to the systems in other western countries. Our good conduct is assessed with bonuses and bad with fines.

This is a school, where we can learn English and German. Besides, we study other subjects, like for example Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Polish , PE, Information Technology, Art and Religious Education.
